**Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti has a fantastic opportunity for a New Graduate Pharmacist to join our busy team on a full time basis.**
Gisborne Hospital is the base hospital for the wide geographical area, Tairāwhiti, extending up the East Cape of New Zealand. The region has a population of approximately 48,000 and is well known for its relaxed lifestyle and its beautiful rural and beach environments.

**THE ROLE**

At Gisborne Hospital our pharmacists are responsible for a range of operational and clinical pharmacy services including (but not limited to) in-patient dispensing, chemotherapy clinical review and dispensing, medication reconciliation, provision of medicines information to patients and staff, participation in multidisciplinary meetings and ward rounds, weekend and on-call roster as well as helping in the training and development of trainees and other staff.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with the multidisciplinary team focusing on medication safety to implement the Health Quality & Safety Commission initiative. We will provide you with exciting work experience and offer you a platform to gain valuable clinical pharmacy knowledge. We are also very supportive of any further training or education you wish to pursue. We reward past experience, qualifications and skills and will offer remuneration accordingly.

We are looking for New Grad Pharmacists with:
- NZ Bachelor degree in Pharmacy
- NZ pharmacist registration and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
Previous hospital experience is desirable but not essential.
