THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading food importer wholesaler with over 400 staff nationwide. Based in modern premises close to Sylvia Park shopping complex. With over 50 years in business, they have a nationwide customer base including Burger Fuel, Wendys Burgers, St Pierres sushi & more.
THE JOB
Using a counterbalance forkhoist & stockpicker you will be picking a range of food & beverage products. Everything from canned & dry products with fresh produce, cheeses, meats, & seafood in a small area of the warhouse. Some manual picking up to 25kgs per lift is part of the job.
We have four positions available;
6am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
2pm - 11pm, Thursday to Sunday
The positions will be ongoing with the definite potential for a permanent position after 3 months.
You would have the following;
- Be able to pass a drug test
- Have reliable transport to get to work
- A good level of physical fitness
- Confident to work at heights
A current counter balance licence is essential, along with experience operating a man up/stockpicker up to at least 5 levels high.
PAY & BENEFITS
$28 per hour + holiday pay up to 6pm, & $30 per hour after 6pm. A generous discount off all 10,000 products with breakfast foods supplied every day. Life insurance policy & social club membership when the position becomes permanent.
