Papakura Private Hospital is a aged care facility, Our goal is to provide quality aged care that is welcoming, innovative and collaborative. We achieve this by making our residents and team the focus of everything we do.

We are currently looking for people with a passion for making a difference to the patient experience at Papakura Private Hospital, our team required an kitchen staff member to cover cook on Weekend and afternoon shifts.

The role requires a person experienced in the production of special dietary needs including modified texture meals and prescribed special diets.

In addition knowledge of food safety planning implementation and associated documentation is required.

This is a team-based working environment and you will have contact with a wide range of people, to be successful in this role you will have:

- Great interpersonal skills.
- A good level of physical fitness
- Trustworthy and honest nature.
- Ideal applicants will have reliable transport.
- Professional cook experience is ideal, however, we will provide on the job training.

The role requires ability to work rostered duties including mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
