**About the Graduate Nursing Role**
We are excited to welcome a dedicated and compassionate **Graduate Registered Nurse** to our team at the Devonport Health Centre. This role is designed for recent nursing graduates looking to start their career with hands-on training, continuous support, and development opportunities in the vital field of **Primary Healthcare**.

**Patient Care**
Provide holistic, high-quality, evidence-based nursing care. This includes comprehensive patient assessment, administering medications and injections, providing vaccinations, and performing complex wound management and dressings.
**Collaboration**
Work seamlessly with the multi-disciplinary team, including GPs, the clinical reception team (for effective triaging), the onsite pharmacy (for medicine reconciliation), and external specialists or community services (to ensure smooth patient referrals and continuity of care).
**Learning and Development**
Actively engage in the preceptorship program, seek and receive feedback, maintain an up-to-date professional portfolio (PDRP), and commit to continuous professional education tailored to the needs of primary health.
**Assessment and Documentation**
Accurately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. Maintain meticulous, timely, and concise patient records using our practice management system and the patient portal (ManageMyHealth), ensuring all clinical governance standards are met.

**Requirements**:
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in nursing from a recognised institution.
- Registration: Current or pending registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council.
- Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
- Eligibility: Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
