Facilities Coordinator

**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

Auckland Council’s Community Facilities department has an opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator within the Operations team.
Please note: This role will be based out of the Orewa office.

In this rewarding and varied role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day facilities management of some of Auckland’s most unique buildings and open spaces. Working alongside the Facilities Manager, you will be managing a range of Auckland Council-owned facilities across your region and developing a comprehensive understanding of the assets in your portfolio.

**Day-to-day you could expect to work on**:

- Overseeing the performance of our contractors
- Maximising your budget to achieve high-quality outcomes
- Acting as the first point of call for all maintenance enquiries for the assets in your portfolio

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

This role requires experience in similar collaborative roles.

We will be looking for specific experience with:

- Delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Internal and external stakeholder management
- Facilities management
- Strong administrative and computer skills
- Managing a budget and providing sound financial tracking
- As this role will require you to use a Council car to travel to and from facilities, you’ll need to hold a full clean New Zealand driver’s license
