Are you motivated, energetic and keen to learn? We have an opening for a Production Manager (2IC) with a passion for farming to join our high performing team.
Located 15km from Westport, Bassets is a 458-ha property, milking approximately 1060 cows through a modern 60 bail rotary with ACR’s and MilkHub. Currently operating a 6 and 2 roster.
Main responsibilities include coordinate the daily operations on farm, assisting the Farm Manager with pasture management, milking, fencing, general stock work.

Housing is available in a modern 3-bedroom home. Great local community with a wide range of recreational activities close by. Good schooling options.
The successful applicant will have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience
- An exceptional attitude towards Health and safety, and Animal Welfare
- Sound knowledge of current NZ dairy farming practices
- A can-do attitude and good communication skills
- The ability to work unsupervised and shows initiative
- Restricted or full NZ driver’s licence
