**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking to appoint an Electrical Supervisor to manage a team of Electricians at our Longburn Dairy manufacturing site in Palmerston North. As Supervisor you will provide leadership to the electrical team to ensure all electrical and automation projects are completed to keep the site running at an optimum, minimizing downtime.

To achieve this, your responsibilities will include:

- Ensure plant availability and reliability through maintenance and repairs to manufacturing equipment
- Act as a liaison between project work and site operations to ensure integration of electrical and automation components
- Monitor work to ensure it is inline with NZ Electrical Standards and Regulations
- Cost control and decision making for site R&M budget, including providing input into capital projects, along with project planning and execution

**Is this the right role for you?**

To make this role a success we are looking for an experienced and registered Electrician that has experience in leading a team. Experience in the maintenance of food manufacturing plant and equipment would be highly beneficial.
- Current NZ Electrical Practicing License and solid electrical maintenance experience of food manufacturing equipment
- Previous experience with continuous high-speed processing and packaging equipment
- An ability to work under pressure with dispute and conflict resolution skills
- PLC programming and fault-finding skills would be advantageous

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
