**The Role**
In this newly created role, you will be accountable for jointly leading the IAG Bancassurance business with specific accountability for the performance of the existing Bank Partner business. You will deliver world class people, customer and partner experiences, ensuring the delivery of positive financial outcomes in alignment with IAG risk practices.
**Key Responsibilities**:
In this role you will be a key member of our Distribution division senior leadership team with responsibility for:
- Bank Partner relationship management, growth and performance
- Ensuring that service level agreements and performance expectations are met or exceeded
- Supporting the modernisation and digitisation of Bank Partner platforms
- Leading commercial negotiations with Bank Partners
- Developing and leading an engaged and effective multi-disciplinary team, directly and indirectly
- Creating a high-performance culture within the team where diversity is celebrated, and customers are at the heart of everything we do.
- Advocating for our People, Customers and Partners to influence future change/projects to support and achieve improvements in their experiences.
- Ensure alignment to IAG Risk Maturity strategic uplift and compliance with all quality assurance, compliance, regulatory and legal obligations.
**Skills & Experience**
- Demonstrated ability in building capability and optimising the performance of teams.
- Demonstrated ability in managing complexity, ambiguity and responding to change.
- Experience in building internal and external partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared goals.
- Experience with creating a continuous improvement environment aligned with agile ways of working.
- Experience in identifying and managing risks with effective risk controls.
- Effective communication and influencing skills supporting the leadership of a large and diverse workforce, engagement with other senior leaders and executive managers and externally with industry bodies and suppliers.
- Deep understanding of business and financial impacts of operational decisions
