**The O**
**pportunity**
Join our friendly team in a role that will give you the chance to work across a variety of different communications fields. We’re looking for someone with proven skills and we will build the role to focus on your areas of expertise - whether that’s media, internal comms, relationship management or a mix You’ll be working alongside a positive, experienced team, as well as stakeholders from many different departments and external health providers.
This full time role is temporary for 12 months. It can offer flexible working arrangements. If you’re ready to develop your skills even further and mark your mark with impactful communications that support our community, this is your chance.
**The skills we're needing**
- Experience in leading internal communications, building relationships with stakeholders, and/or managing media stories and responses.
- A minimum of at least two years experience in the field, and a relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
- The ability to write for a wider range of mediums and audiences, and create clear, effective content.
- The ability to build and foster good relationships, both internally and externally.
- Able to work independently, but also able to help as a team player with both peers and key partners.
**The extra skills we’d love to hear about, if you have them**
- A knowledge and understanding of the health and disabilities services industry.
- Te Reo Māori.
- Knowledge of SharePoint and website management skills.
