Our client is a market dominating, highly successful and reputable business operating in the tourism sector. This NZX listed business are a leading provider of RVs for rent and sale across NZ, AUS, North America, and Europe. They have impressive and state of the art facilities and pride themselves on being the provider of choice in their market.

**About you**:
We are seeking a highly skilled mechanic or workshop foreman who is motivated by success and driven by outcomes. This role would suit someone who has served their time on the tools but is now ready to take the next step and resume a leadership role.
- Ideally you will be NZQA qualified as a Mechanic/Automotive Engineer (not required)
- At least 5 years of mechanical experience.
- Experience with Mercedes or other European brands would be advantageous.

**The role**:
This is a varied and diverse role; it is largely of a leadership nature, but you must be happy to lead by example and not afraid to pick the tools when required. Some of the day-to-day duties include:

- Co-ordinating with the Workshop Manager to distribute the day-to-day workload to the workshop staff depending on skill and knowledge.
- Ensure that all requested and necessary work is completed on the fleet assets as requested by clients, sales department, CSR team or management.
- Ensure a high level of H&S and cleanliness standards are kept.
- See that all vehicles have a valid COF and are well maintained.
