**Food Production Worker**

We have exciting opportunities for people to work with one of New Zealand's largest based Food Manufacturers. Our client has been serving New Zealanders for over 150 years providing quality food products to supermarkets and local communities across the country.

Our client is looking for people to join their team as a **Food Production Worker** in Hastings City

**Employee Benefits**:

- Starting rate $22.50 ph after 4 weeks of training it increases to $25.00 ph
- Monday - Friday - spend weekends with family and friends
- On site cafeteria - great food & coffee with good prices and is convenient
- Fantastic company culture and work environment
- Full training and support will be provided on the job

**About the Role**:

- Mixing different ingredients
- Arranging ingredients for production line cooks
- Documenting ingredients and amounts used throughout the shift
- Ensuring quality food products are made to high standards
- **Option to chose between Afternoon (14:00 to 22:00) or Night (22:00 to 06:00) shift**:

- Follow correct processes and handling techniques (training provided)
- Keep fit while doing the job, manual handling up to 25kg
- Ability to keep fit while doing the job

**To be successful in this role you must have**:

- Good numeracy skills to ensure that ingredients are measured correctly
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
- Has the confidence to communicate well within a team environment
- Understands the importance of working in a safe and efficient manner
- Good level of fitness to undertake the role
