**About us**:
At Shriya Limited trading as Airport Takeaways in Mangere, Auckland. We are looking for a Sales Assistant at our Mangere store with an immediate start. At Airport Takeaways we serve Chips, Burgers, Hot Dog, Fish & Chips, Chicken nuggets, Fried chicken, and other dishes. Great food, great staff. We are an exceptional team, and we need like-minded people to join us now.
**Your key Responsibilities include**:
- Determining customer requirements, and dietary needs and advising on products, price and estimated time the food will be ready.
- Greet Customers and help them to choose the food (If required)
- Explaining to customers the food items on the menu and the ingredients
- Selling food, beverages and accepting payment from customers by a variety of payment methods and preparing sales invoices
- The closing point of sale end of the day to match transactions and cash in the till
- Listen to customer complaints and try to resolve them there then and otherwise refer to Duty Manager/Manager.
- Packing and wrapping food as per the company policy before handing it over to the customer
- Participating in stock takes from time to time and assisting in the ongoing management of stock.
- keep the retail space tidy and clean.
- Other duties may be allocated as required.
**Requirements**:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a Multicultural Environment.
- Motivational and leadership skills.
- Team player and ability to work competently under pressure.
- Reliable and flexible to change.
- Must be able to work across any shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must be a fit, quick thinker, reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated.
- Able to lift weights up to 25kg.
