25 retail stores, 2 production factories and a wholesale network across the country, makes Coupland’s one of New Zealand’s largest independently owned bakeries. We always endeavour to use fresh, natural, local ingredients in everything we make and take great pride in producing quality baked goods and providing excellence in customer service.
We have an opportunity in our Ferry Rd store for an Assistant Retail Assistant Store Manager. This is a hands-on role supporting the Store Manager to bring the retail offer to life for the customer.
- Managing the store in absence of the Store Manager.
- Inventory Management, as well as overseeing various areas of the store including management of the retail sales area.
- Recording and managing stock arrivals and deliveries.
- Cash Handling and end of shift processes
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high quality store standards.
Applicants for this position should have the following:
- Ability to use your knowledge, skills and experience to grow and expand our business.
- Must have excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role.
- Leads by example
- Great customer service skills
This is a full-time role that includes working one weekend day each week. You should be physically fit, as heavy lifting is required.
**Applicants for this position should have NZ residency and be available for permanent work - not suitable for temporary or traveling work visa’s.
