**What is the role?**

We are searching for a permanent, full time Deputy Technical Manager at our head office here in Wellington.

The purpose of the role is to support our Technical Manager with their day-to-day workload.

**Qualifications and experience**
- The Deputy Technical Manager will preferably hold a Certificate of Competency as Marine Engineer Class 1.
- The Deputy Technical Manager will have held responsible positions in the marine engineering field, which included the supervision and day to day management of staff.
- The Deputy Technical Manager will have effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experienced in efficient project scoping, planning and management through the whole process to completion.
