**Salary**: As per HCA salary scale of the NZNO-DHB MECAS Step 1-5 depending on experience

**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**
- Do you have the Level 3 Health and Wellbeing qualification already?
- You could be an internationally trained nurse, currently residing in NZ awaiting commencement of your CAP programme.
- You could be wanting to become a Health Care Assistant but you do not have the Level 3 Health and Wellbeing qualification to secure employment.
- You could be currently enrolled in the Level 3 Health and Wellbeing course.

As a Health Care Assistant, we offer you the opportunity to join our highly motived and professional team in the Transit Lounge at Wellington Regional Hospital.

Transit Lounge is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week unit which aims to facilitate Hospital Flow via accommodating anticipated discharging and transferring patients from acute ward areas. Transit Lounge accommodates clinic assessments and day case procedures. Our service supports open, honest, communication and dynamic professional development of all teams
