No prior experience or qualification required, but would be an advantage if you have experience in this industry. - On-the-job training will be provided if you are the right one. - Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen. - Working hard and healthy. - Long-term commitment required. - Like to work independently with confidence. - Time management and punctuality. **Responsibilities**: - Washing, peeling, cutting, slicing and dicing food ingredients in preparation for cooking and serving - Cutting and grinding meat, poultry and seafood in preparation for cooking - Weighing and measuring ingredients and refilling the sauces and seasonings in advance - Cleaning the pans and pots and general utensils like plates and bowls used in the kitchen and restaurant - Daily Kitchen Cleaning and ensuring food and hygiene standards according to Food Control Plan - Monitor the stocks and give feedback - Packing food and beverage trays for serving **In return Domain Cottage Cafe will offer**: A stable position in Auckland.
