Hair Dresser

At Kess Hair and beauty, we are seeking an experienced and talented Hairdresser to join our dynamic team in our Christchurch salon. As a Hairdresser, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to our diverse clientele, showcasing your creativity and expertise in all aspects of hair care and styling.

Job duties may include:

- Providing a wide range of hair services, including cutting, colouring and styling
- Providing personalised consultations and advice to cater to unique client needs.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry developments.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times
- Contributing to the overall success and growth of the salon through your skills and positive attitude
- Building lasting relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business.
- Cleaning work areas and sanitising instruments
- Arranging appointments and collecting payments
- Compliance with the applicable regulations

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience as a hairdresser.
- Proficiency in all aspects of hair service provision, including colouring, cutting, styling, and customer care.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a friendly demeanour.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- A commitment to creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Ability to work rostered shifts, including at the weekends
- Physically fit

Minimum 30 hours per week.

Pay rate $25.00-$30.00 per hour in line with the skills you bring to the role.
