- Tātaki Auckland Unlimited (TAU) is Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s cultural, events and destination agency. It is an Auckland Council-controlled organisation that works to make Auckland a vibrant place to live and visit, through events, experiences and taonga (treasures).
- We directly manage, operate and promote Go Media Stadium, Mt Smart, North Harbour Stadium and Western Springs Stadium as sustainable, world-class facilities delivering some of New Zealand’s most iconic sporting and music events. We are looking for a Communications & Marketing Manager to lead and deliver our communications strategy and marketing plans for our stadia portfolio.

This is a permanent 40-hour full-time opportunity, managing a marketing and communications co-ordinator, you will work closely with the TAU marcomms and stadium teams to form effective stakeholder relationships and promote opportunities across paid and owned channels to meet Auckland Stadiums’ commercial objectives.

- To be successful in this role you will have;- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications/public relations or business with a comms/media focus
- 7-10 years+ in communications, marketing and/or sales management
- Full marcomms experience with integrated strategy and planning
- Experience in a client servicing role, planning and major project delivery.- You will manage the co-ordination of a range of communications and marketing initiatives and projects; establish new protocols and reporting results as appropriate; and manage often competing priorities from across our business.
- You are self-motivated, highly focused, and highly organised. You’re a good listener and a good leader who can bring out the best in anyone who reports to you; and you thrive when working collaboratively with others within in a large and complex organisation.
