Warehouse Store Person/team Leader

You will be responsible for supervising a small team, general store duties, picking orders, dispatching/ delivering orders, checking and completing associated documentation and stocktakes.
We are looking for 3 warehouse people who are willing to work anywhere in New Zealand as you will need to be moving around different branches. You will be assigned in Auckland branch and will only move to a branch if needed. We have 2 main offices - 1 in Auckland and 1 in Christchurch. We have 9 branches across New Zealand.
You must have at least 1 year of work experience in warehousing. No qualification is required.
**Team Leader**:
ensuring that customers receive prompt service and quality goods and services responding to customers' inquiries and complaints about goods and services
planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, dismissing and promoting staff, and resolving staff grievances
examining returned goods and deciding on appropriate action taking inventory of goods for sale and ordering new stock ensuring that goods and services are correctly priced and displayed ensuring safety and security procedures are enforced
**Warehousing**:
receiving incoming goods, checking for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices unloading vehicles, opening packages and removing contents operating computers to obtain details of location and quantity of items in stock labeling goods with details of storage location packing and weighing goods and sealing boxes operating machines to lift, place, and remove goods on high levels operating specialised equipment, such as manually and electronically guided order pickers, and checking goods off the picking list assisting with regular stocktakes
Police & Medical Certificates required Minimum hours per week is 30 hours. Maximum hours per week is 40 hours.
