Performance & Compliance
- Maintain plant uptime to best-practice standards.
- Implement AFFCO’s asset management protocols and maintenance philosophy.
- Operate within established management systems and explain any budget variations.

Communication & Leadership
- Provide weekly briefings to direct reports and attend plant meetings.
- Keep key stakeholders informed of major issues and expenditure.
- Lead and develop your team, delegate responsibilities, and involve staff in work planning.

Health & Safety Leadership
- Champion a safety culture that prioritises personal responsibility and proactive risk management.
- Implement and support site H&S plans, policies, and KPIs.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and root cause analyses; escalate IDLH risks appropriately.
- Communicate safety alerts, lead toolbox talks, and support H&S representatives and committees.
- Ensure team competency through induction, training, and coaching.
- Manage contractor safety and ensure compliance with AFFCO’s H&S Management System.

**Why AFFCO?**
- Be part of a proud Kiwi-owned company with a global footprint.
- Work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment where your insights will shape real decisions.
- Enjoy competitive pay, staff meat sales, and great deals through our Perks programme.
- Join a flat management structure that values collaboration and innovation.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance supervision or engineering leadership.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair capability.
- Familiarity with maintenance planning, budgeting, and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and manage stakeholder relationships.
