Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Job opportunity for permanent, full time roles (40 hours per week) /24-7 Roster - primarily based at Greenlane Clinical Centre.
In this role you will be responsible for the preparation of high level disinfected semi-critical devices (endoscopes), sterile instruments, supplies and equipment for use in medical and surgical procedures. You will operate washers, sterilisers, Automated Flexible Endoscopic Reprocessor (AFER), and perform technical and mechanical work in the inspection, decontamination, servicing of instruments and equipment.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
You may be a qualified sterilising technician ready for a new challenge, if you have no previous sterilising technician experience then this may be an opportunity to train and gain qualifications in this critical and interesting area of a hospital environment. The skills you will learn are transferrable and provide you with a career pathway.
You will have a minimum three years of secondary education and have completed year 11 or NCEA Level 1 in Maths, Science and English. You must have excellent computer skills and be physically fit to meet the requirements of the role. You will perform well within a team environment that is rich in experience and support as they embrace Tūhono, Manaaki and Haere Mai as they strive to Angamua.
