Test Analyst

We are looking for a Test Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for writing and executing test cases to ensure quality is delivered to an extensive client base. These roles would be ideal for someone who aspires to delivering quality in a fast paced organisation. Your work will be across BAU and new implementations.

Gentrack is a 700 person, growing business, listed in the public markets of New Zealand and Australia. The main people centers are in London, Auckland, Melbourne and Pune.

**In this role you can expect to**:

- We require a number of highly motivated junior, intermediate and Senior testers to write and execute test cases to ensure quality is delivered to an extensive client base
- You could be working on current BAU projects or large Programs of work for new implementations
- Analysis and preparation of test cases
- Execution of test cases and preparation of a clear test log, showing outcomes
- Undertake testing on existing processes
- Retrieve data where necessary to execute test cases

**What you need to be successful**:

- You have a really good understanding of the software implementation cycle, what needs to be tested and why behind it
- Knowledge of requirements review, test case development and execution along with test reporting
- Excellent technical skills including SQL, and troubleshooting abilities
- An interest or experience with Billing and or CRM systems, even better combined with Utility industry experience
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking skills and an exceptional eye for detail
- A team player, able to work alongside technical teams as part of projects
