Downer hold a long term Asset Management and Facilities Management contract with the Department of Corrections and the Ministry of Justice. This involves the proactive management and delivery to the national portfolio of facilities including 15 prisons, 100 courts and 157 community correctional sites. This contract underpins the provision of availability of facilities to support a core Government services.

The role requires the BWOF Compliance Lead is to lead the compliance and quality aspects to support the National Asset & Compliance Manager in the delivery of all contractual requirements to the clients.

Some duties include but not limited to;
- Ensure the compliance obligations are carried out to a consistently high standard, ensuring that we are meeting and exceeding all compliance related KPIs
- Continually looking and striving for continuous improvement in our systems and processes.
- Support the asset management, operations, projects, and management team to deliver a quality and timely service to the clients
- Develop strong, collaborative customer relationships and ensure customer interactions are positive and constructive
- Deliver all services in accordance with our Downer Values

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**
- _Hold_ tertiary qualification in QA, Compliance, RMA or Business.
- Have hands on experience with Facilities and Property Management.
- Have experience in Asset Management frameworks and principles.
- Knowledge and experience in compliance with NZ national and local legislation. BWOF, RMA, HSNO etc.
- Proven contract management experience at a contract support level and a suitable level of experience in the facilities or service industry
- Experience in data analysis to provide meaningful insight into performance and identify areas of risk and improvement requirements.
- Good understanding of NZ Health and Safety regulations.
- Understanding of work quality standards and auditing.
