Arcfits Limited was established in 2022, boasting two branches: one situated at Spey Street in Invercargill, and the other at Gladstone Road in Gisborne. Operating as a general store, we offer an extensive variety of products, ranging from clothing and household goods to hardware and art & craft. Our Invercargill branch is seeking an Assistant Store Managers to join our team and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store.

Position: Assistant Store Manager

Job Duties:

- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory management, and sales performance.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Support the implementation of sales strategies to achieve store targets and drive revenue growth.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising retail staff to maintain high standards of performance.
- Assist in creating and arranging visual displays in the store to make products more noticeable and increase sales.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling staff shifts, processing orders, and preparing sales reports.

The successful applicant shall:

- Have leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business.
- Be responsible, hardworking and physically fit.
- Have no drug or alcohol issue
- Have no Criminal convictions record
