**The Opportunity**

Our Palmerston North branch currently has an opening for an Account Broker to join the team. This role would see you responsible for supporting with the day-to-day servicing and growth of a portfolio of established clients. As a key point-of-contact for both internal and external stakeholders, you will engage with broad range of people, providing them with outstanding client service. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with experience in customer service or administration to progress their career and move into the insurance industry.

**You would be responsible for**:

- Managing client quotes and renewals
- Managing the insurance claims process for clients
- Preparing policy schedules, client presentations, and reports
- Working with clients’ insurance providers and external vendors
- Supporting ad-hoc branch duties alongside the wider team.

**About you**

You could have a background in Administration & Customer Service with a passion for putting the customer first and going the extra mile. Prior experience in Insurance or Financial Services would be helpful but not essential - training will be provided.

**To hit the ground running, you should have**:

- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A great team player with the ability to get along with a wide variety of people
- Computer proficiency with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word).
