**What we're looking for**:
We'd love to hear from you if you've got a desire to learn, fantastic problem solving abilities, outstanding verbal and written communication skills and experience in the following:

- Maintaining API and data synching services. Strong data warehousing and ETL experience will put you at a distinct advantage.
- Postgres, MySQL or similar enterprise-level database server experience: we both create and look after a lot of relational data. You should be comfortable reading explain plans; optimising complex multi-join queries; selecting useful indexes; and ensuring that the database planner is working with accurate statistics.
- Javascript, React+Redux (preferred), Backbone, jQuery).
- Developing for Linux hosts.
- Software provisioning and containerization tools (Ansible, Docker, Kubectl - or similar).

**You might also have**:

- Business Intelligence visualization and reporting tools - especially Tableau.
- Python is definitely preferred, but experience in other back-end languages won't disqualify you - so long as you can quickly become proficient in Python.
- Experience with NoSQL and full-text search databases (Redis, Elasticsearch, Solr) and debugging low-level issues (networking, filesystem, strace etc).
