**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

As our **Contract Manager** you will work with the mobile and fixed safety camera service delivery suppliers to achieve the specified customer and technical levels of service. You will work with the team to achieve the expected contract performance outcomes against agreed service level agreements and act as the key conduit between the provider and NZTA.

This includes:

- Being the key contract partner and conduit between NZTA and our mobile camera service provider, working closely to ensure the delivery of outcomes against agreed service level agreements
- Overseeing safety and feasibility assessments on potential mobile camera locations
- Leading any contract management activities, including working through issues and disparities
- Providing oversight of maintenance activities in relation to fixed and mobile camera locations, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders for remediation

Appointment salary is expected to be between $109,408 and $133,720 commensurate to skills and experience.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Significant experience in contract management working with NZS3910
- Experience managing a maintenance contract or similar continuous programme
- In depth knowledge of the Safe Systems approach to road safety
- Experience in influencing and building credibility across a range of stakeholders to deliver collective outcome
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to build rapport and effectively manage a range of external and internal relationships
- Project management qualification (desirable)
