As a senior member of the BAS team, you’ll be working closely alongside the Partners and Directors on a range of clients from different industries.
- Owning the end-to-end tasks for an established portfolio of clients
- Preparation of financial statements, tax planning & other compliance duties as well reviewing the work of junior staff members
- Manage and monitor the commercial aspects of an engagement to achieve desired levels of quality and profitability, including workflow management, expected utilization and productivity targets
- Managing the relationship and contact with clients
- Experience of 4-6 years in an established NZ Accounting practice at a supervisory/reviewer level
- Solid working experience of Xero packages as well as industry tools
- Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
- Stakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clients
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, coach and motivate team members.
