**He korero mo maatou - About Us**
Ōtorohanga District Council is on an exciting journey of innovation and investment to strengthen our vibrant District. With that, we are embracing a period of growth and development that ensures we have prosperous and thriving communities that residents can continue to be proud of. We are an organisation with passionate people who are committed to delivering exceptional services to our community.
Co-Lab is equally owned by 12 councils across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty and assists them to maximise the value they provide to their communities by making it easier for councils to identify and realise shared opportunities.. Co-Lab has recently gone through a transformation from a shared procurement based organisation, to a opportunity development and service delivery organisation and as a result of that growth they now need to incorporate a dedicated HR support as part of their business.
It's a very exciting time to join us both and help shape our People & Capability functions
**He aha tāu e mahi ai? - What will you be doing?**
You will have regular engagement with all of the people leaders at both organisations to offer advice, guidance and support on all things ‘people’ covering the breadth of disciplines within People & Capability, including OD, change management, talent attraction & retention, L&D, and ER / IR. You will work alongside the Leadership Teams, shaping their strategic HR direction one day, and get busy with operational implementation the next so there’s plenty of variety to keep you interested.
**He aha tāu e wehe atu ai i era atu? - What will set you apart from the rest?**
This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor who can hit the ground running. You’ll need to have experience managing day-to-day HR operations and we are ideally looking for someone who is ready to step up and gain experience and develop into a strategic leadership role.
**He aha nga hua kia puta ai tenei job? - What's great about working for us?**
In return for your skills, enthusiasm and passion, we can offer you competitive remuneration and flexible working as well as a relaxed, fun work environment. If you want to further your career where you will be well supported and recognised for your great work, then this role is for you.
