Auckland is experiencing rapid growth, which in turn brings an increased road freight demand and the trend towards use of higher productivity motor vehicles (HPMVs) that are longer and carry heavier loads. This demand needs to be managed carefully as not all bridges and roads have sufficient strength to accommodate this extra weight.

If you are interested in the complexity of moving heavy or large loads around Auckland by road, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Permit Technician to join our new established Heavy Vehicle Permit Team.

**About the Role**:

- A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science
- 3+ years' experience in a technical engineering role
- Confident supporting a range of senior stakeholders and prioritizing their tasks
- Strong organization skills and exceptional attention to technical detail
- Experience in using MS Office suite of tools

The position will ideally suit a flexible and proactive person that thrives under pressure and enjoys a dynamic team environment where they can use their exemplary customer service and interpersonal and technical skills to produce high level of results.
