Forklift Operator

We are seeking highly motivated Senior Forklift Operator to join our team. Starting pay offered from $25-$30 hourly will be fixed according to the skills and experience for 30-50 hours a week. However, this will be reviewed periodically. Any overtime will be paid as per above payrate. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including:
Operate forklifts to raise, lower, stack, and transport goods safely in a warehouse environment.
Navigate forklifts in narrow aisles and confined spaces while ensuring efficient stock movement.
Oversee goods receipt, verify shipments, and conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
Ensure goods are stored systematically for easy access and efficient order fulfillment.
Pick, pack, and scan orders for timely dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Inspect and maintain forklifts to prevent malfunctions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and enforce health and safety protocols.
Assist with loading and unloading, optimizing workflow, and reporting any operational issues.
**Requirements**:
- Three years’ proven experience in forklift operating.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock control.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet operational deadlines.
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move heavy goods as required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow health and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work weekends, overtime, or shifts as required.
