**The Company** Our client is a Christchurch company with 35 years plus experience in the industry. Over the years they have established long-term professional relationships with several highly regarded builders, architects, and designers. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Fabricator who is very reliable, has a great work ethic, happy to help the team whenever needed. The position involves the manufacture and assembly of Aluminium Joinery. Applicants must have experience with windows, sashes, doors and or glazing. **As the Welder your responsibilities will include**: - Fabrication, manufacture, and assembly of Aluminium Joinery - Maintaining high Health and Safety standards in line with the company H&S manual and policies. - Maintaining high-quality assurance standards. - Good communication skills and general work fitness - A good mix of practical skills, an eye for detail and a high-quality standard of work - Good planning skills and sound time management of the workload - Be able to integrate with in our team, but also be able to work independently - **Skills & Experience** - Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. - Trade qualifications are a bonus - Previous experience in stainless and mild steel is essential. - Be able to prioritise and have well-developed time management skills. - A good level of physical fitness as a role requires a mixture of lifting, standing for extended periods, bending, and squatting. - Current Clean Full Driver's License. **Salary & working hours**: This position is full time, with normal hours of work 7:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday (Be able to do extra hours during busy periods) Competitive hourly pay rate depending upon experience/qualifications with pay time and a half for overtime.
