We are looking for an Automation Test Analyst to join our team in Wellington (we are flexible on location and open to Christchurch and Auckland) on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This role will require you to work closely with customers to understand and clarify business and testing requirements. Your automation expertise to design, implement and maintain testing solutions will be well utilised. As a team-player, you enjoy working collaboratively with other consultants and sharing your knowledge with junior team members.
**Key technical skills**:
- Relevant certifications/qualifications
- Proven experience in functional testing, test case design, test management, execution tracking, defect tracking and maintaining traceability
- Experience with requirement analysis and test estimation
- Experience in test automation using open-source tool such as Easy Repro, Selenium, WebDriver, Specflow, JMeter, Cypress or similar
- Experience in scripting languages e.g. C#
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps)
- Use of test management tools (JIRA, X-Ray, Azure DevOps or other)
You will also have excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and be comfortable working in a customer facing/consulting role. Exceptional customer service skills, strong attention to detail and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and professionally are a must.
