Auckland Transport is leading the development of transport infrastructure and solutions that enable healthy and accessible communities.

We are opening our doors to provide awesome learning opportunities to motivated Transport Engineering students and showcase the world of AT.

**Come along on the journey**

If successful, you and your team of five colleagues will deliver a project over four weeks with the support of one of AT's mentors, presenting your findings back to leaders within the business.
- It will enable you to develop skills highly sought after by employers, and you'll learn more about the exciting opportunities AT has to offer
- You will have the opportunity to access mentorship and support from AT Transport Engineers and Project Managers.
- You will have exposure and input to a real-life challenge that AT is working on
- Everyone belongs at AT. We are highly diverse and inclusive and value the range of experiences, perspectives and voices that our diverse team brings.

**Who are we looking for?**

You will be currently studying a Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering with electives in Transport Engineering at a New Zealand university and be in your third year or higher. As this opportunity is virtual, you can take part from anywhere as long as you have a computer and internet connection

You will also:

- Have exceptional written and verbal communication
- Enjoy working collaboratively and using your strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Be passionate about problem solving and critical thinking
- Energetic, self-motivated, results driven and adaptable.

**This is an unpaid experiential learning opportunity.**

All successful participants will receive access to a range of 21st century learning modules through our virtual internship platform, the opportunity to work on a real world Transport Engineering mini project, dedicated mentoring from an AT Transport Engineer and the best performing team will also receive certification as the project winners. All participants will be recognised with a formal certificate of participation and recognition that you have completed the programme.
