Dunstan Hospital is a rural trust hospital based in Clyde, Central Otago. We have exciting opportunities for Registered Nurses who would like to work in our district nursing team.
The District Nursing Service provides specialist nursing care to people in their own homes and from our nurse-led clinics. The hours of work are 0800 to 1630, Monday to Sunday.
The successful applicant must be available to work on variable days including weekends and public holidays.
This position requires excellent time management skills, and an ability to work independently whilst supporting the rest of the team.
These roles are primarily based at Dunstan Hospital, but rotation to our Wanaka base may occur.
The applicant must have:
- A current practicing certificate
- A minimum of three years post registration experience
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Confident computer skills
- A current full driver's licence
Previous experience working as a district nurse is preferred.
