Senior Foreman

We have a Senior Foreman role going in our TNOC space, working out of the New Plymouth Rifle Range Road depot. If you are highly experienced in the industry with a passion for developing and mentoring others, then we want to hear from you

**About the role**:
You will be a mentor to your teammates and crew as you undertake maintenance-related activities to achieve our contract standards. In this role, you will have a keen eye for detail to meet our customer’s needs. Your duties will primarily be in a leadership and development capacity but may also include:

- operating our machinery from tractors, trucks and small plant machinery, and
- undertaking maintenance-related activities to achieve contract standards; this will include minor concrete work, fixing potholes, clearing small slips and a range of other small civil work.

It goes without saying that we are looking for someone who will willingly adopt the Zero Harm requirements of this role.

**About you**:
Along with your positive attitude, there are a few other essentials:

- 10 - 15+ years in the civil infrastructure industry (highway advantageous)
- Class 1 Full New Zealand Drivers licence and with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Great communication and technical skills
- Demonstrated leadership in prior roles
- A passion for developing people from all walks of life
- A proven track record of operating machinery in civil construction
- Flexibility to work varying
