- ** About the Role**
As Programme Director - Asset Renewals, you will lead the delivery of high-impact infrastructure investments that support the transformation of New Zealand's health system. You'll provide strategic oversight, assurance, and support across a portfolio of projects and programmes, ensuring safe, fit for purpose health facilities and equipment that enable better health outcomes for all New Zealanders.
You will ensure objectives and results are delivered on time, within budget and meet or exceed customer expectations. The success of this will derive from end development and integration of all aspects of the asset renewal programme, including enhancing existing business capabilities, managing programme/project risks, and enabling the management of benefits to extend the lifecycle and performance of critical health infrastructure.
**About the Team**
The IIG team are focused on delivering high-impact infrastructure investments that support the transformation of New Zealand's health system. Giving support, oversight and assurance across projects and programmes, they understand that safe, fit for purpose health facilities, sites and equipment are essential for a well-functioning health system that improves the health of all New Zealanders.
**About you**
You will bring proven programme leadership across large scale initiatives, particularly within the health sector. Your experience includes directing programme level and project management teams, navigating multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships, and delivering successful outcomes in delivery environments.
You have the ability to self-manage and balance multiple demands whilst bringing initiative, resilience, and a results-driven mindset to every challenge.
**You will bring**:
- 15+ years in successfully leading and managing at a senior level major asset renewal programme in large and complex organisations.
- 10+ years in successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Team management experience with an ability to manage virtual and matrix project teams.
- Proven experience in prioritising matrices and working with the business to determine appropriate project prioritisation.
- Experience working in multicultural and diverse environments, with a strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022
