**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**
Community Allied Health Services (CAHS) in Tauranga have a 0.5 FTE, position available for a registered Social Worker with at least three years' experience to work within an existing Allied Health team based in Te Puke. Additional work hours can be considered.
The role is to meet the needs of those clients who require services within their own home and community.
The role will be based with our Poipoia te Pa Harakeke (PPH) team who work within the wider Te Puke area. PPH's focus is health equity for Māori. Utilising the Hui Process and a client-directed approach, this IDT approach tautoko clients and whānau to stay well in their homes, to thrive and to flourish.
**He Korero mōu - About You**
The successful applicant will be willing to learn and work in a culturally sensitive manner, they will be a great communicator and be proactive in forging and maintaining strong links with the Te Puke (and wider) community and its many services that support local whānau.
To be successful in this position you will need to be a clear communicator and have excellent time management skills. You will be independently managing a caseload of varying complexity and completing assessments with an interprofessional lens. You will be working closely with other professions as well as directing an Allied Health Assistant.
