**Smooth Services Limited** is a trusted and dynamic provider of professional moving solutions, specializing in efficient and reliable furniture removals across the **Auckland region.** We are currently seeking a dedicated **Furniture Removalist (Driver)** to join our team, with responsibilities that include safe furniture transportation and excellent customer service. The role requires flexibility, as you will occasionally travel to nearby regions to meet customer needs.

**You will be responsible for the following duties**:

- Ensure compliance with New Zealand driving regulations, including size, weight, parking, and rest periods, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Operate and drive vehicles safely to transport furniture and goods, planning efficient delivery routes to meet schedules.
- Supervise and assist in loading, securing, and wrapping furniture to prevent damage during transit, and ensure all items are safely tied down or covered with tarpaulins.
- Take inventory of items during loading and unloading to prevent loss and carefully place furniture at designated locations upon delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, invoices, driving hours, and fuel or toll expenses in compliance with regulations.
- Report any vehicle issues, mechanical failures, or accidents to supervisors immediately and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and serving as a brand ambassador.
- Adhere to health and safety policies, observing and reporting concerns, and implementing resource-efficient practices to support the company’s goals.

**Other important requirements**:

- Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience
- Available to Work on weekends
- Must have a valid class 2 truck driver's license.
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Must pass drug and alcohol tests.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Self-motivated and a passionate individual
- Physically fit and hardworking individual

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
