**Restaurant and bar Manager** required for busy popular Kaikoura Restaurant and bar.

The Whaler Restaurant and Bar Kaikoura

The position is full time 30 + hours per week.

Current License controller Qualification (LQC) would be an advantage.

Restaurant opens at 3pm

**Job description**

Uphold the sale of liquor act

Host responsibility

Food and beverage service

Customer relations including dealing with customer feed back and complaints

Employee management and relations Recruiting and training

Cash handling and financial recording

Stock take, ordering and recording keeping.

Working with chef on menu design and pricing

Staffing and rostering

Have knowledge of products and up selling

Organising groups and special functions

General hospitality duties

Health and safety

Good English is essential.

Kaikoura is a lovely seaside town, a great place to live work and meet new people.

We can assist with accommodation if needed.

Applicants for this position must have NZ residence or NZ working Visa

Pay: $29.66- $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Rotating roster
