Gardening is an integral part of our 7 day a week business and we’re looking for some people with the passion to continue to ensure our store is a leading supplier for the Landscaper and Home Gardener in the greater New Plymouth area.

We are now seeking applicants for a Permanent Part-Time Garden Department Team Member with strong knowledge in Gardening and Landscaping for **_32 hours a week_**.

For this position we are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

- Green fingered or knows their perennials from their hostas
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good time management skills
- Enthusiasm and team spirit
- Great attention to detail
- A high level of integrity and honesty
- The ability to think on your feet
- Good physical health as heavy lifting is required in this role
- Landscape and green goods knowledge is favorable

Team work is key, but sometimes you will need to use initiative

if you can operate a fork lift (with licence or F endorsement that would be a distinct advantage.

The days of this role will include a weekend day.

Additional casual hours are also available at the discretion of the company.
