We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced administrator to join our team at Lollipops Britomart in Auckland CBD.
Lollipops Briotmart is a growing Early Childhood Centre in the heart of Auckland CBD. We are a busy environment with a focus on providing professional services across the board to our tamariki, their whanau and the community.
The key purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Centre Manager, working closely within the parameters set by the Centre Manager around specific tasks and responsibilities. The administrator role is vital in providing information and support to the Centre Manager in a timely and accurate manner, particularly in reporting and completion of set day to day tasks.
In this role you will need to be warm and welcoming to all tamariki and whanau and have the ability to communicate effectively. You will need great computer skills and the capacity to multi task, with the expectation of a quick turnaround in delivery of key tasks. Experience in the Early Childhood sector with an understanding of the funding accountabilities and associated reporting will be an advantage but as a training will be provided this is not a requirement.
**This is a permanent part-time position. We also have a full-time option available, in which you will be responsible for 2 childcare Centres and you must have the flexibility to travel between two centres.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support to the Centre Manager
- Handle enquiries and maintain records for the centre(s)
- Coordinate events and activities for children and familie
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Manage billing and financial records
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for children and families
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in business administration or related field preferably
- Experience in administration, preferably in a childcare setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and policies
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
