**The security industry is classed as an essential service and can operate during any lockdown events.** This is a dynamic and fast-paced industry where no two days are the same. If you’re looking to protect your community and keep New Zealand running during Covid-19 then this may be the right job for you. **Casual, part-time and full-time roles are available** so you can help out in your community on a schedule that best works for you. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided where necessary.

There are a wide variety of security roles available. These roles include but are not limited to:

- Construction
- Events
- Healthcare
- Government
- Managed Isolation & Quarantine (MIQ)
- Mobile Patrol
- Retail (i.e., Supermarkets, malls, banks)
**Previous experience not required - new entrants are highly encouraged to apply.**

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Strong work ethic
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to work irregular shifts (the industry operates 24/7)
- Reasonable fitness
- Good, clear written and spoken English
- Confidence with speaking to a diverse range of people
- Confidence working alone
- A NZ driver’s license and your own reliable transport
- Vaccinated (double jabbed including booster where applicable)
- A valid work visa or NZ citizenship
