My client operates a successful business, with a great reputation for quality. Providing leading and trusted steel fabrication and steel installation to the greater Auckland region, they have over 30 years of local residential, commercial and industrial experience amongst the team.

**About the role**:

- Perform welding and fabrication tasks based on project specifications and blueprints.
- Work with a variety of metals, including structural steel, stainless steel and alloys.
- Ensure accurate measurements and alignments to meet quality standards.
- Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area and adhere to safety protocols.

**About you**:

- You are fully qualified - trade trained/served an apprenticeship, preferably as a Fabricator.
- You have several years experience in the trade (minimum 5 years post apprenticeship)
- You hold, or have held, formal welding qualifications.
- You're self-motivated, punctual and well presented.
- You have good English language skills and a good understanding of mathematics.
- You are able to work in a team environment and lead small crews on customer sites.
- You are drug-free, physically fit and in good health.
- You're prepared to work overtime and be flexible in your hours of work.
- You have a NZ current drivers licence.
