Based in Wellington, the Senior Coronial Information Advisor is a brand-new role and an exciting opportunity to contribute to positive change in Aotearoa's justice system.
The Senior Coronial Information Advisor is responsible for triaging on behalf the team, drafting complex responses and facilitating the provision of official correspondence, data and information relating to the Coronial system and the Ministry of Justice.
You will bring your experience in working with information, correspondence or data in a large customer-centric organisation, to promote and drive comprehensive and tailored responses to members of the public, other government departments and requests for public information.

Requests for information and correspondents with the Ministry and Coronial Services are diverse, and the work reflects that. This role is no different and would suit a variety of backgrounds.
If the following matches your skills and experience, we want to hear from you
- You have previously worked with information, official correspondence or data in a large local or central government organisation (preferred).
- You are detail orientated and observant as there are different processes and statutory obligations that must be met.
- You can work in a fast-paced, high volume, environment where you are required to influence and respond to changing needs and priorities.
- An ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds is essential, as is having well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- You are resilient and have the ability to deal with sensitive and sometimes graphic information and details.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $81,128 and $112,887 based on skills and experience.
