**About the role**

We are looking for a Solicitor to join Wellington’s leading corporate team. Ideally, you will have at least some exposure within M&A, equity or capital markets work already, and evidence a keen interest in progressing in the field.

As a member of our Corporate team, you will be working with New Zealand’s leading transactional lawyers across our national Corporate Practice. You will work under the supervision of highly-experienced partner, Josh Blackmore, and will gain exposure to a broad range of corporate transactions including private treaty and public markets mergers and acquisitions, public sector transactions and equity capital markets work for New Zealand’s leading corporates. Our Wellington Corporate team continues to work on New Zealand’s most high profile corporate transactions for blue chip domestic clients and high profile international investors and you won’t get a better opportunity than this to learn from the best and grow in this field.

You will also have the opportunity to learn from the wider Chapman Tripp team - across finance, commercial, property and other practice areas. We encourage all our lawyers to engage directly with clients, so you will be managing files and building your own client relationships.
