We are on the hunt for qualified Power Technicians. Are you looking for a varied, exciting and fun role? Delta is looking for a dynamic person that can work with our variety of clients in the Electricity Distribution and Hydro Generation sectors.
You will be a self-starter that can work within a small team and is willing to trouble shoot and come up with the solutions to keep our client’s system up and running. This requires a range of tasks from new installs, maintenance and retrofitting of HV electronics and equipment.
You will have previous experience in the high voltage electricity industry and have EWRB registration.
**Main responsibilities include but are not limited to**
Commissioning, testing and maintaining:
- HV Protections systems / schemes
- HV Substations secondary systems and primary plant
- HV/LV Plant/Assets
- Power Generation Systems
- Power Transformer
- Provide technical support and training to technicians.
- Provide leadership and supervision to technicians.
- Be competent in preparation of commissioning/testing documentation, protection test plans and create detailed technical reports on completion of works.
