**Ngā mōhiohio e pā hānga ki tēnei mahi **(About this position)**

We have a permanent part-time position available, working 60 hours a fortnight (0.75FTE), based at the Marlborough Community Health Hub in Blenheim.

We are looking for an experienced paediatric occupational therapist who is passionate about working with children and being part of multi-disciplinary team. You will see children with neuro-developmental disorders, sensory issues, coordination and functional difficulties and much, much more. You will work collaboratively with other services such as Ministry of Education, Needs Assessment Services, Ti Piki Oranga, Plunket, Explore, Child and Adolescent Mental Health to name a few. The role will require you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.

The Child Development Service (CDS) team has a strong commitment to child protection and is dedicated to helping children achieve optimum function and wellbeing. We provide multi-disciplinary therapy for children with disabilities referred to the service, in partnership with their whānau; this role spans community, primary, inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will be a NZ registered occupational therapist, with a current APC and have Enable Assessor accreditation. You will have experience and a passion for working in paediatrics. You will also have excellent communication and rapport building skills with children and their whānau and will share our passion for delivering an excellent service, whilst being a dedicated team player. You will be committed to adhering to best practice and extending your own professional development.
