**The Opportunity**
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Resolving complex desktop issues and provide support for full MS Office suite
- Providing user support for full range of modern office IT equipment
- Prioritise and manage several open issues at one time
- Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
- Ensure all issues are properly logged in the relevant ticketing system
- Support of desktop, infrastructure and services across multiple technology streams including, Hardware, Software, Networks, Server, Print
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP) and the ability to resolve level 1 and level 2 networking and connectivity issues
- Perform level 1 and level 2 user administration for Windows Servers and Active Directory, including password resets and user administration

**Skills and experience**

The successful applicant will possess a passion for technology and developing knowledge. As well as
- Experience and practical knowledge of Active Directory, Server Technologies (Windows 2003, Windows 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012)
- Strong communication skills including verbal, written and listening skills
- Strong organisational skills, ability to working autonomously
- Experience with Citrix Technologies, (XenApp 7.x)
- Continuous improvement approach through problem solving, decision making and driving to root cause
- Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build and develop strong customer relationships
