**The Role & Duties**

Your role will report into the senior network engineer / network architect and provide support on a wide range of exciting new projects. With training and support from this collaborative team, you'll have unrivalled mentorship so that your next role may be even leading projects like this yourself In this role you are responsible for implementing, monitoring, and managing the local and wide area networks of an organisation to ensure maximum uptime for users. This position will involve supporting system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary. One of the major projects currently being undertaken is related to security which you will be heavily involved in, so a willingness to learn is key to your success here.

There is flexibility with working hours and ability to work 4 days / week for longer hours to shorten travel time if coming from Auckland CBD as long as you can still produce the deliverables required. However, you are required to be on site for this role the majority of the time due to the sensitive nature of some of the work.

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience or a keen interest within network security
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong technical skills in at least two of the following technologies: MS Suite (MS Windows 2016, MS Windows 2019, MS Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Terminal Server), Networking/DNS Services, CommVault, BRMS, NetApp Storage, IBM Storage
- A willingness to learn and work in an exceptionally supportive team
